Welcome!

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 642. Our troop is part of the Reyes Adobe District in the Western Los Angeles Area Council (WLACC) of the Scouts BSA. We serve the communities and surrounding areas of Calabasas and Woodland Hills. We welcome new families to learn more about our Troop. Scouting is a year-round program for boys and girls ages 11 - 17. We have a sister troop for girls, Troop 642G.  This web site gives our Scouts, their families, and visitors to our site an idea of what Scouting is all about and keeps them informed about troop activities.

Black Canyon Canoe Trip - Feb. 19-21, 2022

Posted on Feb 22 2022 - 9:20am

What an absolutely amazing adventure led by the Troop High Adventure expert from the old days, Mr. Curt Miles!  It's true, the winds made it a battle, but it was gorgeous weather and a great time had by all.  Thank you to all the ASMs who made this trip happen.  A special mention to Mr. Morga for all your preparation efforts that were over and above the regular call of ASM duty.
